I wish to proclaim the great value of your Radon Gas Test
Kit. In July, I purchased the kit through PRO-LAB. I hesitated
at the cost of approximately thirty dollars because I didn't
like the idea that the state caused the price to be ten
dollars higher than if I lived in a different state. However,
I agreed to purchase the kit, admittedly with some continuing
hesitation. I conducted the test exactly as specified in
the directions. It was quite clear and simple. I was pleased
to get the results within a week indicating a low Radon
gas level of approximately 1.5 pCi/L. I was quite content
that I avoided much greater expense and could rest easy
knowing I would not have to worry about my home sale contract
becoming victim to Radon gas problems (i.e. re-mediation).
The buyer of my home paid for a different Radon gas test
as part of a home inspection and the results were 6.2 pCi/L.
You can imagine my immediate fury, which prompted my 'intense'
phone call to PRO-LAB. Honestly, I began to doubt your results.
After all, your test was the least expense
by far! You stood your ground, confident in your results.
My attorney instructed me to buy another test from an objective
firm. I did this. That test was conducted using a Pylon
AB-5 continuous radon monitor for a forty-eight hour period.
This test cost me more than six times what your test cost
me. Much to my delight and a true testimony of the value
of your product, the Pylon AB-5 results indicated a 1.7pCi/L.
Based on my experience with these two tests, that result
suggests that the margin of error on your product compared
to the test results using a $7,000 test device makes your
Radon Gas Test Kit a clear winner and great value. Rest
assured, I would buy other PRO-LAB test kits on the positive
experience I have had with your Radon Gas Test Kit
